What Goes Around Can Come Back Around!

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:37-38

I believe this to be true in most everything. “What goes around comes around”, “You get out of it what you put into it”, “You reap what you sow” and many other sayings mean the same thing. Some might say that its karma, but I think that its God plan of checks and balances. We all make deposits and withdrawals from our checking or savings accounts. I think that God manages our spiritual accounts when we fail to. In other words, when we take too many withdrawals without making any deposits, we end up with insufficient spiritual funds. I think that when we take too many withdrawal from others (in the way of not loving or caring for them) without making deposits (as in spreading the love of Jesus), He takes from our accounts, as well. When we give willing and with a servant’s heart the way that Able did in the form of tithes, time, service, praise, love, etc., God will bless us abundantly. But, if we choose to hold out or hold back the way that Cain did, then we are sometimes left completely on our own. So, whether it be, a kind word of encouragement, a helping hand, a prayer, forgiveness, mercy, love or a number of other things, just remember that we do reap what we sow. Now, ask yourself, “What have I been reaping and is it worth it?”
